-"Converting ideas into global solutions"-
In the year 2000, as the new century dawned, the aerospace industry witnessed a plethora of transformations, among which security, fuel costs, and the imperative of part maintenance and recycling emerged as formidable challenges. Addressing the pressing need to minimize weight, our team embarked on a mission to create the lightest flight attendant trolley ever conceived. Remarkably, even after a scorching day of service, the ice within remained frozen at a chilly 3°Celsius after 24 hours. Boasting streamlined components, this innovative trolley earned acclaim as the recipient of the prestigious Crystal Cabin Award in Germany, lauded for its unparalleled features.
In 2007, Aviacsa approached us with a compelling proposition: to explore options for collaborating on the comprehensive refurbishment of their entire fleet. Given Mexico's limited alternatives for in-house design development, we eagerly accepted this challenging opportunity. Unfortunately, after four years of operation, the airline faced governmental grounding, halting all progress on the four transformative refurbishment projects we had undertaken for their sleek B737-200 and -300 aircraft. Nonetheless, our initial experience of working directly with an airline remains a memorable cornerstone of our journey.
Among the team's notable achievements, a significant milestone stands out: our collaboration with esteemed global integrators in ground transportation. The realm of railroads proved no exception, as we engaged in pioneering projects such as the development of meal carts for ACELA (Bombardier) and the refurbishment of All Aboard Meal Carts alongside SIEMENS. These ventures underscore our commitment to excellence in diverse sectors of transportation, marking pivotal contributions to passenger experience and efficiency.
With over 25 years immersed in the intricacies of aircraft interiors, the moment had arrived to showcase our engineering prowess by embarking on a groundbreaking endeavor: transforming an entire passenger aircraft into a lightweight cargo carrier. Collaborating closely with German counterparts, we harnessed our proprietary methodologies and cutting-edge technologies to design and implement specialized containers and locking mechanisms. The result? A streamlined conversion process aimed at minimizing downtime. This milestone not only signifies our technical acumen but also solidifies Innocentro Aeroespacial SC as the premier all-inclusive provider of aircraft interiors services in Mexico, pioneering innovation in the aerospace industry.
